The problem was due to my ISP. So don't get crazy with a problem like this ;)

  Subject: [pptp-devel] Having Speed Problems...

  Here is my situaction:

I had redhat 7.2 installed. My ISP gives me static IP address via VPN.
First I have to connect via pppoe, that creates the ppp0 link with dynamic address, \
then I via pptp the link ppp1 is created with the static IP.

The problem is that the throuput of ppp1 is much much slower than ppp0...
IE The same file with gateway ppp0 downloads at 23 KB and with gateway ppp1 at 0.3 \
KB :(. I tried different drivers (1.1.0, 1.2.0) upgraded ppp package to 2.4, \
changing rmem values, mtu values, changing the kernel, and even upgrading to redhat 8 \
(with brought me lots of trouble). Last thing I did is changing the values from \
pqueue.h as described http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=2878531, \
but it didn't work either.

I don't know what else to do.

  Any help???
