In that case, your are options are:

1. Continuous WAL Archiving
<https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/continuous-archiving.html>
This is "like" using diff backups, but not quite the same.

OR

2. Use a 3rd party app, for example Barman <https://pgbarman.org/> or
pgBackRest <https://pgbackrest.org/>
