EDB announces the release of [pglogical](https://www.2ndquadrant.com/en/res=
ources/pglogical/) 2.4.0, the next generation in logical replication for Po=
stgreSQL. Implemented entirely as a PostgreSQL extension, pglogical is a lo=
gical replication system that serves as a highly efficient method of replic=
ating data as an alternative to physical replication.
This release contains important bug fixes. Users of pglogical 2.x must upgr=
ade to this release before upgrading to the PostgreSQL versions released on=
2021-08-12.
pglogical 2.4.0 also contains preliminary support for PostgreSQL 14 (beta).
