I am a new user trying to install postgis 0.7.4
under postgres 7.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.0)
When I run the make command I recieve the following
message:
root@desktop postgis]# make
make -C loader
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/tmp/postgresql-7.3.1/contrib/postgis/loader'
gcc -O2 -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations shpopen.o dbfopen.o \
getopt.o shp2pgsql.o -L../../../src/interfaces/libpq -lpq \
-Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/pgsql/lib/contrib -lcrypt -lresolv -lnsl -ldl -lm -lbsd -o \
shp2pgsql
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lpq

Any solutions would be worthful
