I just signed up for their shared plan number three with added postgis
installation. I had a conversation with Pghoster's Roj Niyogi on the setup,
because I'm fairly new to this and I quote: "Both cgi-bin for Mapserver and
php for MapScript should be feasible... ". So this is great news in my
opinion and soon I hope to have something online on xygis.com. I am studying
GIS at Kingston University and my plan is to draw maps from the PG database
with the help of SVG.

Hope my first contribution to this list was helpful,

Johan Terpstra

I just heard from PgHoster (www.pghoster.com) that they have started
offering PostGIS-enabled web hosting packages. They are already big
PgSQL folks (as evidenced by the name :) but this is a great step
forward in the wider availability of all things PostGIS. No word yet on
whether PHP/Mapscript is part of the package.
