MMh. It seems we were using a mismatching default from pgsql
prefix (/usr/local instead of /usr/local/pgsql).
Could you try again with current CVS ?

Developers, can you check your installation paths with current
CVS as well ? It sounds as default postgresql installation paths
were not cleanly handled with postgis 1.1.0...
