The SIGNAL setting that the PM3 is set to is wink start. What are the other 3 line \
settings?

I have noticed that my Receive Level is -7.5dB to -15dB. Is that a problem?

  Thanks for your assistance.

  Mickey

If its busy then your signalling is set wrong most likely.
You dont need to do anything with groups or sessions.
There are only the 4 line settings you need to set to make a pm3 start answering \
calls. So now its probably your signalling. What do you have it set for? The default \
                is wink start.

I have the Line up and working, kind of. The PM3 know recognizes the \
Channalized T1. But the phone number rings busy. I am wondering if I am suppose to \
set up any information under Groups or if there is anything I need to set up with the \
Sessions (S0, S1, S2, etc)? If any one has any other ideas that would be great.

      Thanks.

        Subject: Re: [Portmasters] Configuration

I am implementing a PM3 for the first time and have a couple of questions \
regarding configuration of the PM3. I have a DCS (Digital Channel Service) coming in \
as my feed. (ISDN-PRI cost quite a bit more.) I have the LINE configured as inband, \
Trunk E&M wink

First of all. PRI should NOT cost that much more. In fact, it is way cheaper \
in many areas. TEll them you want INCOMING ONLY or SELECT-VIDEO or SELECT-DATA \
service.

start, esf, b8zs & u-law. These are the setting I received from my TelCo. Is \
there any setup I must do for the Modem lines. I have
found where I can make the MODEMS either Available or Busy. But nothing that \
lets me configure them? Do I have to do anything

They arent really modems, they are dsps so you dont have to configure them. \
There are a few documented AT commands you can issue but they are primarily for \
dialing out.

with them? I have also found under PORTS, ISDN a bunch of ISDN ports, but \
nothing that deals with None ISDN ports. Did I miss something (very possible) or is \
there some type of configuration I need to do to these ISDN ports?

Not unless you are dialing yout. Are you having a specific problem?
