That is it !!!
I tried a different terminal software that has this setup option (CR/CR+LF)
and this worked really fine.

Thank you a lot
Augusto

Hi,

If it only effects enter then I would have thought that it was related to
CR/CRLF conversion, i.e. the PM is sending CR+LF (Carriage Return and Line
Feed) and the Cisco is interpreting this as two enters.......Does your
terminal software support ONLY sending CR (and not LF) ??

Cheers

Phil

Subject: (PM) Double Enter

Hi...I just solved the problem I had posted days ago, but this took me to
another issue.

I configured a portmaster 2e to work as a console-server for cisco routers
and the connection to the console port is just fine, except for the fact
that everytime I press Enter in my keyboard the router console gets it as a
double Enter (like I typed it twice)....this only affects the Enter key,
others key work ok (if a type A i get an A on the screen, Not a AA).

Has anyone seen this before ? or has any idea on it ??

Thank´s

Augusto
