We are trying to use line0 on two Portmaster 3 as a point to point t1
router. We have a pm3 at each location and a t1 line that the Telco
tells us is perfect. I have never set up line0 for this purpose before
so I am willing to admit that I may have the setup wrong.

This is the procedure that I have used so far
Set line0 t1
Set line0 framing esf
Set line0 encoding b8zs
Set line0 pcm u-law

Reset w0
Set w0 network hardwired
Set w0 protocol ppp

The remote PM3 is set up similarly except that I entered

Set w0 destination

The IP addresses of the remote PM3 is set to an address on the remote
network.

The IP of the local PM3 is set to an address on the local network

I did not set an IP address for w0 in either case.

A couple of specific question.

Is there a clock setting? Is it required?
What about a secret?
If I set an IP address on the local w0, should it be on the local
network? The remote network? Or should it be blank to default to the PM3
ether0 address?
If I set an IP address on the remote W0, should it be on the local
network? The remote w0 IP? Or just set to destination?
