Hmmmm, I tried, but...

Warning! Cannot find a .config file to prepare your kernel with.
Try using the --config option to specify where one can be found.
Your build will likely fail because of this.
make prepare-all...................
make oldconfig....

Running the pre_build script:

I do have /usr/src/linux-2.6.7-2mdk with .config in it.
And my PPPd is a package provided on pptp-client-devel, to work
with mppe-128.

What's more as I now try to establish a ADSL connection:

(/lib/modules/2.6.7-2mdk/kernel/drivers/net/ppp_generic.ko): Invalid module
