If you (or anyone else for that matter!) has a bit of time, there's a 
related task to this around testing. We have a magic spreadsheet that 
contains for all the functions we've implemented, a simple formula that 
uses them and the value that excel calculates it

The bug (task) for this is:
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=52057

We've a few functions (such as Rate) now missing from that file, so it'd 
be great if someone could go through and update the file including 
all the recently added (and currently missing) functions
