Its funny you bring this up. I help out with IMP (a horde module -
http://www.horde.org/imp), and the creator of Jonah (Chuck Hagenbuch) is
an extremely smart feller. Chances are he has a LOT invisioned for this.

We could throw together something php specific, but to use this (i havent
looked at the code) you would have to have horde installed.

Right now nearly ALL development right now (within the Horde project) is
on the web-based email portion of it (IMP -
http://www.horde.org/imp). I would highly suggest joining the horde
project in their efforts if you like/want something like this.
