Arg.. 
I just haven't had time to run through the code and clean it up again.
(Sorry, my department is *trying* to get up a new web site and a projet of 
mine is starting to kick into pre-production, which means lots of time 
talking, not coding) 

End result is that at this point there are so many rough hacks in all of 
the comment modules, they each do something diffrent, each new patch opens 
up another problem becasue it doesn't addres the whole comment subsystem. 
Right now I'm thinking of just pulling ALL of the patches into two 
functions, one that cleans up data when it first comes in and one to clean 
up the data when it goes out. 

However, I need time to do this and I just haven't had any.  It's in 
bugzilla and I will address it soone (in the next few weeks).  If sommebody 
would like to step up and take on this task, I would be eternally grateful.
