Summary:  Extraneous slash at top of  Send to Friend confirmation screen

Description: An unwanted slash appears at very top of the screen confirming sending \
an auction to a friend. <br />

Solution:

At the top of the file that sends the e-mail to the friend \
(friend_confirmation.inc.php) there is the offending char ahead of the php script \
tag. i.e.: <br />
