Of course sessions management can be performed in our project.
We just discussed the possibility to use phplib for phpauction: what
emerged (and I personally agree) is that it's probably not a good
choice making phpauction dependent from another package.
Thanks to Alexander Plakidin from Moldova we have a sessions.inc file
(it's in the includes directory) including some functions to easily
handle sessions management using the "sessions" table defined in the
database.
There's also an improved version of that file (again by Alex) I am using
in a commercial auction project. We could use it as soon as it will be definitive.
