PHP 5.5.18 RC1 is available for testing.

You can download it from

http://server.famillecollet.com/php/

The Windows binaries are available at http://windows.php.net/qa/

This release contains a number of bugfixes and fixes a regression that were
introduced in 5.5.17 about OpenSSL extension.
The original issue was https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=41631

For the list of bugfixes that you can target in your
testing, please refer to the NEWS file:

Please test it carefully, and report any bugs in the bug system.

Our QA server is actually down. We are sorry about this, you may experience
problems reporting bugs for this RC.
Please, feel free to report them using our QA mailing list instead, or by
contacting our QA team directly.

The stable release is planned for October 16th, if no critical issues
will be discovered in the RC.
