Operating system: Linux 2.2.16
PHP version: 4.0.1
PHP Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem
Bug description: <?php= does not work like <?=
As seen in the pear examples, php4 supports the <?= shortcut to output a variable \
value like ASP (eg. <?= $weird ?> will output the _value of the php variable $weird, \
equal to <?php print($weird) ?>. This does not work when using <?php= $weird ?>
This is pretty inconsitence, is the <?= syntax an offical feature?
