php-fpm isn't launched manually like a daemon on the box. it's
actually using the script that is dynamically generated when doing
./configure

i just think for configurability it would be nice to point where the
fpm location would be, instead of making daemon arguments... and yes
there are sapi directives all over in php.ini.
