well, after falling over the bison problem..

it appears that $HTTP_SERVER_VARS is broken in ZE2 at present so I 
hacked that to $_SERVER[] - seemed ok.

the build I ran this morning halted at
php_gtk_object.c:807 'gtk_object_ce' undeclared (first use of this funciton)

that was building with
./configure --enable-pixmap --enable-scintilla
