Do you support PostgreSQL or MySQL?

NOTE: UNSUPPORTED. Cobalt Networks currently does not offer support for
third party software or modified systems. Please contact the appropriate
software vendor for further assistance. Modifications through root shell
access could potentially void your warranty. A fee will be assessed by
Cobalt for fixes or rebuilds on systems with unsupported modifications.

Both PostgreSQL and MySQL are available as unsupported RPMS's from our FTP
site ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/.

Please read the readme for mysql for more info on installing that package.

Postgres is currently slightly further behind in development. An older
version can be found on the experimental ftp site now.

Pues no se porque dicen eso porque de hecho el cobalt funciona internamente
con postgres.
Yo he hecho una web entera en php y postgres en un raq3 y no he tenido
ningun problema..

Que tal amigos, acabo de rentar un servidor cobalt Raq3 con
datapipe.com, y tengo una aplicación que corre en Apache + PHP 4 +
Postgresql 7, me dicen que cobalt no recomienda usar postgres en este tipo
de servidor, que opinan, cualquier comentario será bienvenido.

La aplicación hace uso de variables de session y acceso a la base de
datos.

Que me recomiendan hacer?
