In the case the forum will be used to report problems it will be, I think, a
good feature for the initial user who post the problem in the forum to have
the possibility to close the topic when he got the final reply (solved or
not solved).
This closing action should then been mentionned in the topics list with a
text or a icon.
In addition a link should be possible to open a information window or to
launch another program etc .....
