this is a fairly recent phenomenon (as of 02/25/2000 for the most part)
it is a MySQL problem having problems setting auto_increment for 2+ digit
numbers, as you can guess this can be quite frustrating. My guess it that
the internal function that calls MAX(column_name) has some date sensitive
function that decided to go kaput.

Hi -

I have been searching the archives looking for how to avoid the following
message:

Duplicate entry '61' for key 1
Insert Into hestenettet_forum_bodies values (61, 'A test', '61')

What happens is that nextval, all of a sudden, gets an older value.

We're currently running:
Phorum 3.0.7
MySQL 3.22.25
Apache/1.3.11
PHP/3.0.14

Would an upgrade of Phorum to 3.0.8 solve this problem?
