Hi,

In my curent utilities and future ones I plan on using the getopt()
function. I came across a security alert regarding getopt() and Sun
systems at:

You may wish to take a look at this and apply the appropriate patches if
you are using Sun as this bug will affect other programs also.

I am not aware of any problems with getop() on non-Sun systems.
