Yeah, today pgp-public-keys@keys.nl.pgp.net started notifying me that is was 
dropping messages that had been queued too long. Don't worry about me, just 
buy me a beer whenever we meet.

/We have runned the pks-queue-run to process the queue again.
/We think the server operates fine now.

I wonder whether pksd coud have anything to do with your smtp port. The 
SURFnet server runs its daemon without privileges as a normal user process.
It should not be able to do anything illegal with privileged smtp port 25?
