I have up to now found the following key server software:

The NAI keyserver ("certificate server") for Windows
 - does only LDAP and LDAPS. Will therefore not work with GnuPG, AFAIK.

The Highware OpenKeyServer 1.2
 - does HTTP and SMTP. Runs www.keyserver.net.

The original (Horowitz) pks-0.9.4 + patch2
 - does HTTP and SMTP.

Is this the software that runs www.pgp.net?

What does www.pgp.net mean by "the NEW PGP 5.0 compatible WWW Key
   Servers" -- wwwkeys.pgp.net?

Are there any other (free) software packages?

   What are you using?

Thanks,
Stefan
