I'd like my recent patch to B to be available to perls younger than
5.10. I imagine this means I'm stuck dual-lifing it. Are there any
objections to this?

I'd really like to make use of the changes immediately in
Runops::Trace for use on my 5.8.7 at work, honestly. I'd also like to
update these other CPAN modules to use the new version and cut out a
pile of code in the process.
