I'm not sure what you mean here - do you mean you want to request an XML
file off a HTTP server and parse it? If so, you can just use LWP or
HTTP::GHTTP (the latter is faster, but requires the gnome libghttp) to
request the file from the server and parse it as a string.

You'll have to expand a bit more if that's not what you need.
