I Know this is off topic, but this e-mail list has come through for me
before with Log4perl questions.
I ma currently running Log4perl 0.24 on Win32 and 0.26 on solaris8. In
Win32 it works great all of the
logger-> methods work.
In Solaris with 0.26, I get errors when trying to use the
logger->error('error message'); method.
I get the following message:
Can't locate object method "error" via package "logger" (perhaps you forgot
to load "logger"?) at H_Protocoltest.pl line 189.
but the other methods like logger-> fatal and logger->info still work.
anyone know what I'm doing wrong? couldn't locate 0.24 for Solaris 8, so had
to go with 0.26
