Hi Chris,

from looking at it, r439 seems to fix the writing of such "attr: 
<tag>something</tag>" lines.
I guess the primary problem of  bug #7868 has been fixed with r432.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to actually test this in real 
life, yet.
