Hi there,

I was able to get sqlite to install - but I didn't use the standard 
Redhar PHP rpms, as they are fubared when it comes to PEAR.  Grab the 
source from a .tar.gz off of php.net, compile it yourself (it will work 
just fine), and then try pear install sqlite.  On my system, Redhat 9 as 
well, it worked splendidly.
