Subject: [PEAR] clearAllTemplates() generates surplus "/"

Apologies if this has been asked before but I have been off the list for
some time and I had a quick look on MARC but couldn't find any reference
to it.

I'm using Quickform 1.63 and have struck a small problem with
clearAllTemplates() When I use the afforementioned function I end up
with some of my elements ending up with a surplus forward slash at the
end of the tag.

I don't believe it's my code as the QuickForm_example2.php that comes
with Quickform exhibits this behaviour as well.

Is this a known problem? Something to do with magic quotes perhaps? Is
there a workaround?

This is not causing major headaches as it appears to render properly in
the browser (at least in Konqueror), but it's annoying.

After the call to clearAllTemplates() if I print the _elementTemplate
string it's just "{element}" which looks ok.

An example generated by QuickForm_example2.php;

<input size="3" name="tmp_text2[0]" type="text" />

Thanks,
Brad
