What is the correct answer here? How should they be formatted? Also as

What's the expected outcome here?

I think closures with use() also fall into this question (for
standards.classdef.php).

Manual page: standards.classdef.php

What about 'extends', how should they be formatted?

1:
class foo extends bar
{
}

2:
class foo
extends bar
{
}
