 New Comment:

You can use accents without problem. The character encoding is fine
here. What happens if you use another browser?

Description:
------------
I'm a french translator of the pear manuel (php and Smarty too).

When you see this page :
http://pear.php.net/manual/fr/

You can see that some caracter are not valid.
In Cvs source file, this caracter are noteed as html entities, like
Pear's Developpers wants.

This problem is present in many files of the French documentation.

In Php and Smarty documentation, we (translators) can use accent
without use html's entities.

Is it possible to :
* solve this issus ?
* make possible to write ours translations with accent, like in Php and
Smarty's documentation ? It's very, very, very annoying to write
é instead of é....
