To help translating if you feel confortable with CVS and XML you can
apply for a CVS account (there is the procedure in the manual) or
continue submitting patches :)

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.

In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Another Mistranslation in the german version of
http://pear.php.net/manual/de/installation.shared.php

original:
"Ein lokales _PEAR-Verzeichniss_ über Telnet" (heading)

correct: 
"Ein lokales PEAR-Verzeichnis über Telnet"
Verzeichnis is spelled only with one s unlike the plural form of
Verzeichnis which is spelled correctly with two s
(Verzeichnisse)

This mistake appears quite often in the whole document.

"dass" is wrong in this case, because it doesn't have the original
meaning "which" -> "das" is the right version

It is a grammar and a spelling mistake:

verwaltet und sind von dort verfügbar."

correct:  "Alle PEAR-Packages werden in einer zentralen Datenbank
