Here are notes made while trying to build pcc-0.9.9  on
SGI IRIX on MIPS R10000:

Configure with
./configure --target=mips-unknown-netbsd
find . -type f | xargs grep -l mips-unknown-netbsd | xargs sed -i -e \
s@mips-unknown-netbsd@mips-sgi-irix@ make

Compilation fails with

gcc  -DGCC_COMPAT -DPCC_DEBUG -Dos_netbsd -Dmach_mips -D_ISOC99_SOURCE -I. -I. \
-I../.. -I../../mip -I../../arch/mips -I../../os/netbsd  -g -O2  -Wall \
-Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes -Wshadow -Wsign-compare -Werror -c -o main.o \
