I have added the possibility to the compiler to calculate floating point in software,
if the target is not the same as the destination.  Currently only DEC F- and D-floats
are written, but it should be simple to add IEEE floats also.  The typical case when
this is needed even if both host and target have IEEE floats is if the length of
"long double" differ.
