Hi Stefano,
You can also use raw binary data (as well as Base64 and ASCII). You can take
a look how it's done here
http://www.nacad.ufrj.br/~rnelias/paraview/VTKFormats.f90 . I hope it can
help you...
Regards
Renato N. Elias

Assunto: [Paraview] XML binary file format
Hi all,
reading the VTK file format I don't understand if the XML
binary format support only base64 or also raw binary. At
page 12, in the footnote, I read that in the AppendData
section a non base64 binary (raw binary) data is accepted,
but I don't understand if it is possible also in the other
sections (into the DataArray tags). I don't like use the
AppendData sections...
Thanks to all,
Stefano
