hi all, 

I'm having a small problem with getting oam_ldap to run on a solaris 6 
box.

Basically I've downloaded openldap2.0.7 and pam_ldap-99 which  I've 
compiled on a redhat 6.2 system and a solaris 8 system. In these 2 
cases everything works o.k.

using just the pam.conf ( and pam.d directory for RH) lan ldap.conf 
both these systems authenticate to our X.500 DSA via an ldap port.
However, although I can build openldap and pam on the  solaris 6 system
( had to put open ldap in a non standard location though) and I'm using
identical configuration files on both the solaris systems, the ldap 
authentication just doesn't work, in fact there isn't even a connection
to our DSA from the solaris 6 box.

Is there any way to switch on some debugging so that I can see what is 
happening?
