I find the coloured letters and heading backgrounds a distraction in
Owncloud Contacts.

Is there any way to remove the letters by the names and/or the
coloured background of the contact heading when you open a contact?
The headings are particularly bad because they make the text illegible
in some cases (e.g. white on yellow).
