Dinis,

You are welcome. Quite for some time I was using tools written by others, so I hope \
that people using TBrowser (if there are any) find it useful (BTW version 0.9.4 is on \
its way, it will enable cookie manipulation - adding/deleting/changing, and some \
minor changes to page properties, such as image preview).
TBrowser was put together literally within a few hours, so it needs to be cleared and \
structured properly, but I want to: 1. Confirm that there is a need for tools like \
it; 2. Gather feedback and comments.

I don't know a lot about your development process, but I would love to see TBrower as \
another OWASP tool.
I think that automatic testing has too many limitations (first step in testing, but, \
by far, not the last one) and my aim is to build the Swiss knife for manual web \
testing. Things like web Spider, raw HttpConnection (with support for compression, \
digital certificates, web proxies, Unicode, ...), nc (+SSL), different encoders, \
regression testing tools are on my roadmap. Develop them is an easy bit (In the past \
I wrote most of them), but design simple and intuitive GUI is the tricky one :-)
Not mentioning things such as WebServices & XML or MQ...

I hope that there is a need for such tool and possibly TBrowser (or its equivalent) \
will be just a module in this combo...
Cheers,

Pawel

Hello Pawel

(I'm starting to reply to this thread in sequence, so please forgive me if I ask \
something that was answered on a later response)

Firstly I would like to thank you for submitting your code and for being part of our \
community.

Secondly I would like to ask if you have made up your mind about the license? If not \
I would strongly advise you to go Open Source, since that will allow us to continue \
its development and to incorporate it in the other Owasp .Net tools.

Best regards

I'm building a simple tool to play with web forms and I think that I'm not far from \
the release version. Basically it is Internet Explorer control embedded within my \
application :-)
This tools is written in c# and requires .NET Framework 1.1 (with \
Microsoft.mshtml.dll!!!), but I'm sure it is not an issue for people in this mailing \
group
The tool can be downloaded from http://www.btinternet.com/~pawel.krupinski/
I didn't have time to create any manual, but I hope that the tool is \
self-explanatory. If you need more info, give me a shout. There are two zip files in \
the directory: TBrowser.zip - the tool itself (MD5 - \
ab5e86f06308c108d71d38dc6b5de023) Interop.zip - is zip with interop dlls (MD5 - \
7263957bbc14f53b615d1bec85426c9e)
I haven't decided which licence scheme to use, but for private use it will be free.

If you have any comments, suggestions and/or found bugs please send them to \
pak76_apps@yahoo.com.
Best regards,

Pawel
