It's official!
The OSSEC team has released 2.7-beta0 build --- see the announcement on 
http://www.ossec.net/?p=507 .

Many new features have been added. Please follow the instruction to 
download and test on as many platforms as you care about.
Whether it works for you, or a bug has been found, please post your 
findings here with a subject prefix such as [2.7-beta0-syscheck].

We plan to run beta for a month and release to final 2.7 in mid-October.
