The Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies (SSUGT) Open Geospatial \
Lab  is the central OSGeo node in Russian Federation.

There are lot of excellent developments in OpenGIS happening in Russia also building \
upon OpenGIS conference in Moscow, Russia   few months back . Details at \

Daria Svidzinska presented Geo4All for the conference. Photos of the event at \

We hope more universities and schools in Russia will start establishing OSGeo Geo4All \
labs to help expand more education opportunities there.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the First International Conference "Open Gis" \
within the  XIIth International exhibition and scientific forum ¡°Interexpo GEO- \
Siberia-2016¡± organized by the Siberian State University of Geosystems and \
Technologies that will be held 20 ¨C 22 April 2016 in Novosibirsk (Russia) at the \
Novosibirsk Expo Centre.

Forum organizers: Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technology (SGUGiT), \
exhibition operator "InterGeoSiberia" with the support of the Novosibirsk Region \
Government, international specialized organizations (DVW, FIG, ISPRS, ICA, ISDE, \
IEAS, DGfK, EAGE), the leading companies, universities and scientific institutions.

March 17th 2016 - abstract and full paper submission deadline

The conference will open with a lot of parallel events.
