AmFast (http://code.google.com/p/amfast/) is a Flash messaging
framework for Python. Version 3.2 adds built-in support for Flex
messaging over HTTP long-polling and HTTP streaming (real-time)
channels.

There are two Flex messaging example applications on the AmFast
project page.
* A simple chat client implemented with polling and long-polling
channels (http://code.google.com/p/amfast/wiki/ProducerConsumer).
* A client with a shared display object using real-time messaging
implemented with HTTP streaming (
http://code.google.com/p/amfast/wiki/RealTimeMessaging<http://code.google.com/p/amfast/wiki/>
).
