Well, at least if one uses a make system which fulfills usual needs like
unit tests, cross compilation, cross platform, standard unix methods
like "./configure && make && make install", build-vs-host tools,
sysroot/destdir awareness etc.

As long as people think that, by re-inventing the wheel in a different
and less complex way makes the world better, things do happen.
