Yes, include the doc changes in the same patch as the code changes.  For 
oprofile user manual changes, edit the doc/oprofile.xml file.  For opcontrol man 
page changes, edit the doc/opcontrol.1.in file.  Run autogen.sh and configure. 
Then, to build all the docs, cd into the doc directory and do 'make chunk'.
