I don't see any events being passed to oprofiled, but even if you were in timer mode, \
we should see "--events=" argument being passed.

What version of oprofile are you running?  Did you build/install it yourself or is it \
from a distro?  Please paste in the "do_start_daemon()" function from the opcontrol \
script in your reply.
