With my 5500 suspend works fine. No matter if it's from the menu,
with 'apm -s' on the console or with the on/off button. It's not the
most up-to-date OZ though. I installed the hentges image some while ago.

uname -r says: 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix
apm -V says: apm version 3.2.1
