Anyone successfully get CVS 1.11 installed (from www.killefiz.de/zaurus)?

I get the following when trying to install with OZ's default package manager:

Dealing with package /mnt/card/ipk/cvs-1.11.arm.ipk
loading conf file /etc/ipkg.conf
loading conf file /etc/ipkg.conf
Package cvs (1.11) installed in ram is up to date.
 
Creating symbolic links for /mnt/card/ipk/cvs-1.11.arm.ipk
Could not open :/usr/lib/ipkg/info/cvs-1.11.arm.ipk.list
Finished


After this, cvs doesn't run from a shell.  I don't know what the problem is. This \
same package ran nicely under the 1.38 Sharp ROM.  

Can anyone help? TIA.
