Trying to troubleshoot a layer 2 issue with the latest intel i40e (Intel X710 / \
40Gbit) 

Tested running kernel 3.10 and 4.1. 

Losing connectivity randomly and the arp table displays incomplete entries. 

I've found enabling vlan splinters helps but performance is only about 1.1Gbit \
enabled. 

Not really sure how to debug this further, have tried the latest intel website \
drivers to, issue is still persistent with OVS. 

I have tested vmware round robin vswitch and this issue does not persist.
