Finally, I added the following lines in configure.ac file, and its working
fine.
AM_CONDITIONAL(RAMANA, true)
AC_DEFINE([RAMANA],[1],[Enable Ramana's Extension])

Thanks Ben. Now I understood how to use gnu toolchain.
